Founded in 1998 in close cooperation with the Fabrica de Tabacos NicaSueño S.A. in Estelí, Nicaragua, represents Casa de Torres the consistent development of German cigar culture. The Schuster family, whose company was established in Bünde in 1909 by August Schuster, brought over 100 years of experience to the development of this special brand. Today, Casa de Torres is rolled entirely by hand from carefully selected tobaccos: Connecticut Shade from Ecuador as the wrapper, Nicaraguan binder, and Piloto Cubano filler – a premium Havana seed. The cigars impress with a mild to medium strength profile with woody and creamy notes, grassy and nutty accents, and a characteristic honey sweetness.
