The Talisker Distillery is a whiskey distillery on the Isle of Skye in Scotland.
TALISKER SKYE is a very balanced and powerful Talisker. It matures in American oak barrels and embodies all the properties that make up this unique character of the island malts. The perceived interplay of sweetness, smoke and spices is unmistakable.
Slight pepper notes and earthy aromas with sea salt and smoke rise into the nose. A slight fruitiness of orange and mango can also be perceived. At first it is very soft, sweet and slightly smoky. Then you can perceive the flavor of salted caramel with honey and barbecue flavors on the palate. The finish is long and slightly smoky.
