The Strawberry Gin of Puerto de India is manufactured in Spanish Carmena near Seville. The Puerto de India's distillery is a traditional company whose history can be traced back to 1880.
It is distilled in more than 100 years old copper kettles. Fruity strawberries meet dry juniper. The strawberries come from Huelva (the European strawberry center par excellence). Contrary to the trend, the gin no citrus fruits are fed, but fresh strawberries that are inserted in alcohol and pass on their fruity, sweet aroma to the distillate.
In the nose, strong strawberry node rise, juniper and spicy herbs occur discreetly in the background. On the palate he is slightly sweet with notes of strawberries, juniper and some licorice. The finish is long and also shaped by strawberry notes.
