Wolfburn is a whiskey distillery near Thurso, Scotland. In January 2013, the first spirit flowed through the stills at Wolfburn, the most northerly distillery on mainland Scotland.
The Wolfburn Aurora is composed of approximately 80% quart casks and approximately 20% first fill sherry casks.
Sweet notes of sherry, dried fruit and malt fill the air. On the palate you can also perceive notes of sherry and aromas of autumn fruits, nuts and a hint of spices. The finish is long.
