The "La Cofradía" distillery is a company that has been producing tequila for over 50 years. “La Cofradía” has always been a company that produces premium tequilas from premium blue Weber agave using traditional methods. The 818 Tequila brand was founded by the Kardashian family's highest-paid model in the world, American Kendall Jenner.
What is special about this Reposado is that it is married to longer-matured Tequila Extra Anejo and is therefore a blend. This also explains the dark color and sweetness in taste. Incidentally, the 818 Blanco also matures in oak barrels for 28 days, which makes the tequila a little milder.
The 818 Tequila is aged in oak barrels until it develops a mild and sweet aroma. Notes of vanilla and spicy pine fill the air. On the palate it is mild and smooth with hints of fruit, vanilla and some cinnamon. The finish is also soft and sweet.
