A.H. Riise developed his rum on the formerly "Danish Virgin Islands" or the so-called "Danish West Indies" in the Caribbean.
The "Black Barrel Navy Spiced" is slightly sweet and has aromas of molasses, caramel and honey. He also has his very own aromas, like light notes of mocha, walnuts, burned figs and lightweight, burned oak. Christmas spices and dark chocolate unite and round off the taste.
The rum is stored in burned out oak barrels.
