Dewars Aberfeldy Distillery was first planned in 1896 by the sons of John Dewar and is the only Scotch whiskey distillery built by the Dewar family. The whiskey distillery is based in Aberfeldy, Perthshire, Scotland.
Handcrafted by Aberfeldy Malt Master Stephanie Macleod, the 16-year-old Aberfeldy Single Malt gets its finish from the fine Madeira barrels, in which it matures for up to 12 months before bottling. The Madeira barrel emphasizes the soft honey notes of the whiskey. They are refreshed with citrus fruits, refined with the taste of baked apple and seasoned with cinnamon and creamy vanilla.
