Dewars Aberfeldy Distillery was first planned in 1896 by the sons of John Dewar and is the only Scotch whiskey distillery built by the Dewar family. The whiskey distillery is based in Aberfeldy, Perthshire, Scotland.
Aberfeldy 21 year old limited release Highland single malt scotch whiskey Madeira Cask Collection it is handcrafted by Aberfeldy malt master Stephanie Macleod. It gets its finish from the fine Madeira barrels, in which it matures for up to 12 months before bottling.
It is a richly textured and complex whiskey with notes of ripe fig baked in honey with a hint of walnut oil and dark chocolate.
