Glenfiddich is a whiskey distillery near Dufftown in the former County Banffshire in Scotland. Glenfiddich is one of the largest single malt producers in Scotland. This whisky also comes from the relatively young Ailsa Bay distillery of the long-established whisky icons of William Grant & Sons. "William Grant & Sons" is the legendary whisky family that owns the Glenfiddich, Balvenie and Kininvie distilleries.

Aerstone Land Cask and Sea Cask are both distilled in the Lowlands, but stored in different locations. While Sea Cask matures for 10 years in warehouses on the Ayrshire coast, Land Cask is stored further inland, retaining its smoky and perfectly balanced aroma.

Spicy aromas of peat smoke and campfire smoked bacon rise to the nose. These are joined by subtle, sweet notes of citrus. The palate is very soft. The peat smoke is very present here and combines with the light sweetness. Caramelized sugar, licorice and candied apples mingle with fruity notes and the oak of the barrel. The finish is long and warming.
