The James Sedgwick Distillery is the only commercial whiskey distillery in Africa and home of Bain's Double Cask 21 years with a rich history of producing award winning spirits.
Bain's Cape Mountain Whiskey 21-Year-Old Double Cask Finish began as Bain's Cape Mountain Whiskey and spent a further ten years in aged American oak before being transferred to aged Amontillado and Manzanilla sherry casks for the final six years. The Bain's Single Grain Double Cask 21yo is the oldest single grain that the distillery has produced to date.
This whiskey has a beautiful deep rich amber color with complex layers of fruit and spice from the aged sherry casks blending seamlessly with the sweeter notes of the single grain whiskey.
