Barceló is a rum from the Dominican Republic. Julian Barceló founded in 1930 in Santo Domingo the company Barceló & Co. The brand became one of the largest rum Destilleria of the Caribbean.
The Barcelo Rum is made from pure sugar cane juice, which gives the noble drop its characteristic softness and full-bodiedness on the palate. The rum ages for 6 years before undergoing a complex cooling process.
This gives it a particularly harmonious taste.
Aromatic, fruity notes of orange peel, cherries and vanilla rise into the nose. The palate is soft with aromas of wood, caramelized fruit and nuts.
