Benriach is a whiskey distillery near Elgin, Scotland, United Kingdom. Since 1998, the Speysiders have been experimenting with triple distillation in pot stills, which should give the raw spirit an even fruitier and spicier character.
This whiskey was allowed to mature in bourbon and sherry casks for 16 years.Notes of honey and vanilla fill the air. Slightly floral and slightly fruity aromas are also present here. An elegant note of wood is added and gives the whiskey a great variety of tastes. The whiskey is nicely rounded off with nuances of honey, vanilla, spices, toffee and apples.
