Benriach is a whiskey distillery near Elgin, Scotland, Great Britain. Since 1998 the Speysiders have been experimenting with triple distillation in pot stills, which should give the raw spirit an even more fruity and spicy character.

The sweet, fruity Speyside taste of BenRiach is brought about with spicy oak notes through an extensive quarter cask maturation. This process creates a balance between barrel influence and the unique distillery character.

Candied citrus peel and caramelized green pears with a hint of eucalyptus make this whiskey a specialty. Black vanilla pods and fresh white pepper add a warm contrast to the rich oak aroma. In terms of taste, it scores with the fresh lemon peel and sweet oak sprinkled with powdered sugar. Ripe pears and honey apricots combine with fresh, warm barley, which gives the palate a fantastic depth.
