Benriach is a whiskey distillery near Elgin, Scotland, Great Britain. The Speysiders have been experimenting with triple distillation in pot stills since 1998, which is supposed to give the raw spirit an even more fruity and spicy character.

"" BenRiach Triple Distilled 10 Years "" is distilled a third time, which gives the raw spirit an even more fruity and floral note. This rare Speyside malt is aged for at least 10 years in first fill bourbon barrels as well as in first fill Pedro Ximenez sherry barrels. While bourbon barrels add balanced notes of vanilla and spice, the PX sherry barrels represent the complexity and depth of this smoothest of all single malts.

The aromas of fresh and crunchy green fruits, lychee, ginger and mandarine play together perfectly. Vanilla, mint, citrus fruit and some barley give this whiskey its specialty. A subtle touch of cut oak chips, green apples, a little cinnamon and dried apricots give it a nice contrast. Hints of peach, banana, anise and lemon peel round off the whiskey in an excellent taste.
