The original home of Black Velvet is Valleyfield, Quebec, Canada, where Schenley Industries began making this blended whiskey in 1945.
Black Velvet Reserve, is known for its remarkably smooth taste. Much of this style is achieved through the higher proportion of rye in Canadian whiskeys and the special distillation process of Black Velvet.
A whiskey blend that stands out from the crowd with its velvety taste and richness of facets.
Its scent is full of sweet caramel and strong notes of vanilla fill the air. In addition, there are roasted nuts and a pleasant flavor. The finish is still soft and is accompanied by oak notes.
