As the name Blackwood's Vintage Dry Gin already reveals, the spirit is produced by traditional way (distilled). It is made in traditional copper copper still plants. Besides, Blackwood's Vintage Dry Gin is the first gin prepared with original ingredients from the Shetland Islands, in the northern Atlantic. The ingredients are freshly harvested and brought on the fastest way to the distillery so that their natural seasoning force is preserved as far as possible.

One of the botanicals used include juniper berries that form one of the most important flavors. There are also a licorice, citrus, coriander, water mint, violet, cinnamon, lily roots, nutmeg, sandbases and turmeric (turmeric).
