Bladnoch Whisky is an award-winning single malt Scotch whisky from the legendary 203-year-old Bladnoch distillery in Galloway, Scotland.
Bladnoch Whiskey is made by hand using only the finest local ingredients for a true Lowland experience.
The "New Make Spirit" bottling is bottled directly after distillation, which is why it is very clear. By definition, the minimum requirements for whisky have not yet been met. If you leave this distillate to mature in barrels for at least 3 years, you get whisky. As it is bottled directly, the alcohol content is also very high. The new brand was therefore the forerunner of whisky.
It tastes malty, with a nice caramel sweetness, followed by slightly fruity notes of apple and pear. It also has a very fresh aroma with a hint of freshly cut grass.
