"Bols Genever" is an excellent premium old school Genever. It is distilled according to the original recipe for Bols Genever from 1920, which conquered the world at the time and helped define the drinks of the first "golden cocktail age" in the 19th century.

Bols Genever Barrel Aged is aged in French oak barrels for 18 months. Master Distiller Piet Van Leijenhorst, keeper of the secret recipes for over 25 years, was inspired by the American Bourbon tradition and Decennia and decided that an original 19th century Bols Genever recipe would be perfect for aging in oak barrels from France's Limousin region.

Flavour: Rich flavor and rounded malt aroma with vanilla, wood and apricot notes.

The Bols Barrel Aged Genever is characterized by the fact that it complements the typical gin notes with its own character traits and has a lot to offer. One perceives very clearly a malt aroma and notes of vanilla. These are accompanied by fruity notes of apricot, peach and herbal spice. The Bols Barrel Aged Genever is also reminiscent of nuts, cereals, toast and soda.
