Bowmore is a whiskey distillery on the island of Islay in Scotland. The distillery is owned by the Japanese-American Beam Suntory group. Most of the whiskey at the distillery is stored in Spanish sherry casks, which gives them their own unique taste. < / p>
18 year old Bowmore is perfectly balanced. It owes its dignified maturity to years of storage in the depths of the finest Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez sherry barrels. A touch of luxurious chocolate, smoky peat, sweet toffee, fruit oils and aromatic roasted coffee warms the soul. A light, velvety mocha and macadamia nut chocolate flavor emerges in the finish.
