Don Andrés Brugal Montaner has founded the company Brugal in 1888, in Puerto Plata (Dominican Republic). The Distillery Brugal will continue to be led by family members.
All ingredients from Brugal come from the Dominican Republic. The selection is strict. Only sugar cane, yeast and water of the highest quality are used for the production. Through its dry flavor profile, the premium rum offers an excellent basis for perfectly balanced drinks. The special taste achieves Brugal by the greatest care in manufacturing because only the purest distillate is released for maturation. The añejo matures for up to five years in selected bourbon barrels from American oak, and our distillation process extracts the heavy alcohols that occur in other rumors. The result is a clear, mild and not to sweet spirit with an unforgettable taste.
There are richly buttful flavors and slight demands of caramel to light. Light wood aromas with gentle hints of chocolate rise to the nose.
