Bruichladdich is a whiskey distillery in Bruichladdich on the island of Islay, Scotland.
.This single malt is made from 100% Bere Barley, one of the oldest barley varieties in Britain. The 10-year storage in first-fill American Oak, ex-bourbon barrels and in sherry casks makes this whiskey special, with a perfectly balanced flavor profile.
Notes of crisp apples and ripe pears rise to the nose, accompanied by lemon candy, grapefruit and orange zest. The palate is sweet with notes of elderflower and honeysuckle. Dried apricots, malty sweetness and flavors of caramel also join in. The finish is warm and balanced and is accompanied by the sweetness of roasted barley malt.
