This Bruichladdich 14.1 matures in first fill American barrels, which give it its perfect variety of aromas.
Notes of sweet caramel, notes of peat smoke, coconuts, almond leaves, earthy nuances and a fresh citrus fruit note rise to the nose. Citrus notes are also present on the palate. There are also notes of ripe pears, gooseberries, apples, earthy smoke notes, oak wood and roasted coffee beans. The finish is long-lasting with vanilla nuances, butterscotch and an earthy peat smoke.
