The unpeated Laddie Eight is the newest exclusive whiskey in the travel market, published by head distiller Adam Hannett. With this vatted whiskey, his goal is to preserve the elegant floral notes of the dynamic young whiskey and at the same time to build up the signature of the salty citrus tang that is so typical of Bruichladdich. He understands that an eight year ripening period in a warehouse that surrounds the banks of Loch Indaal conveys complex notes of apple, pear and subtle layers of oak.

The layers of oak barrels used to make this whiskey add notes of vanilla, lemon, honey, toffee and a creamy buttery texture to the taste. This whiskey has vitality, depth and maturity, as well as the classic Bruichladdich DNA of soft fruit and floral elegance, combined with exotic fruits and a variety of special oak notes.
