Buffalo Trace is a whiskey distillery founded in Frankfort, Kentucky in 1857. It is part of the New Orleans Sazerac Company. None of the other American distilleries produce as wide a range of whiskeys as Buffalo Trace.
Buffalo Trace Bourbon is distilled from the finest corn, rye and malt and matured in oak barrels for 5 years.
A mild sweetness of vanilla, caramel and mint rises into the nose. This whiskey has a pleasantly sweet taste with notes of cane sugar and spices and an aftertaste of oak, caramel, dark fruits and anise.
