Along the north coast of Ireland, where arctic storms rage against the rugged cliffs and where the crisp waters of the River Bush slice through volcanic rock, generations have passed down an ancient tradition of distillation. "Bushmills" received its license to distill in 1608 and is the oldest licensed whiskey distillery in the world.

Bushmills whiskey is a perfect example of how the triple pot distillation used makes the whiskey very clear and light.

The limited single malt whiskey first matured in Oloroso sherry and bourbon casks for over ten years before being matured for a further three years in French oak casks made from wood from the Jupille forest.

Ripe aromas of dark fruits, strong notes of pear and honey fill the air. Warming aromas of various spices and a sweet note of melon are noticeable on the palate.
