Cambus, one of the old closed grain distilleries. The Cambus distillery dates back to the early 19th century. It opened in 1836 in a village of the same name near Alloa. Here the distillery produced its whiskeys and became one of the first members of the Distillers Company Ltd. In 1913 a fire destroyed much of the distillery and forced it to close by 1938.

This whiskey is reduced to just 1,812 bottles that have been released.

This classic Lowland single grain whiskey is light, smooth and slightly salty.

Sweet notes of croissants, coconut cake, pudding, Mirabelle plums and herbal tea fill the air. On the palate, the whiskey is very fruity with notes of mango, papaya and plum. You can also perceive very light notes of vanilla and coconut. The finish is medium-long and soft with a light lavender note.
