The Cameronbridge grain whiskey distillery was founded in 1824 by John Haig and is the largest and probably the oldest of its kind in Scotland.
It is the first time that the master blender Dr. Craig Wilson from Diageo has included a whiskey from the Cameronbridge Distillery in the Scottish Lowlands in the special releases. For the limited series he chose a single grain whiskey that matured exclusively in refill barrels for 26 years.
Notes of grain, sweet mango, papaya and spicy oak rise to the nose. Aromas of toffee and beeswax are also added. On the palate it is intense and here too you can notice sweet notes of caramel and milk chocolate. Finish is slightly spicy and intense with a warm spiciness.
