The first distillery was founded in Walkerville, Ontario because of the exceptional quality of the grains there. The distillery is located on the banks of the Detroit River, which forms the border between Canada and the United States. It wasn't long before the" "Canadian Club Whiskey" "gained worldwide popularity. Unlike other brands, it is not wed after but before maturation, which makes it a very unique whiskey.
