With the Canerock Jamaica Spiced, a very special spirit based on Jamaican rum comes from the well-known French spirits manufacturer Ferrand, which is known among other things for its Plantation Rums.
This is a 100% Jamaican rum infused with delicious & natural spices such as vanilla beans from Madagascar, coconut meat & wild ginger from Jamaica. This rum was allowed to mature in oak and sherry casks. Rums aged up to 3 years are mainly used in the production, but a small proportion of 5 to 10 year old rums are also mixed in.
Notes of vanilla, pastries, coffee, coconuts and chocolate fill the air. On the palate one perceives sweet notes of caramel and raisins, which combine with tones of pepper and tannins. The finish of the Canerock is impressive with exotic aromas such as poppy seed cake, coconut, plums, cloves, ginger and fresh mint.
