Caperdonich is a former whiskey distillery in Rothes, Moray, Scotland, UK.

The building, built in 1898 and closed forever in 2002, no longer exists. This is all that is left of the whiskey named after the "secret fountain," the source of its clear water from the Rotheshills. Even in its heyday, Caperdonich was a small distillery in which whiskey was produced in small quantities. Other distilleries grew and grew, but Caperdonich remained firm and true. While the building may have disappeared, the craft of the distiller lives on.

The whiskey is matured in warm American oak barrels. This gives it an elegant taste. The warming, rich malt perfectly balances complex aromas of juicy blackcurrant, sweet pear and creamy milk chocolate. A hint of cinnamon spice leads to a long and juicy finish.
