Behind the Special Edition 2023 is a 10 year old Clynelish that has a great variety of flavors. Under the theme 'Spirited Xchange', this year's bottlings represent cross-cultural collaboration with a range of single malt expressions inspired by countries from around the world.
This whisky was allowed to mature exclusively in American first fill bourbon oak casks.
Rich caramel and spicy vanilla aromas with aromatic mineral sea notes. It becomes sweeter towards the end and is slightly earthy, soft and very well balanced on the palate. Vanilla sweetness and rich, full-bodied flavors, surrounded by a slight saltiness and a gradually increasing spiciness.
