This blend whiskey got its name after the famous ship Cutty Sark and is one of the most famous whiskeys on the market. The brothers Francis and Walter Berry and their friend Hugh Rudd were responsible for the distillation and mixing this family owned distillery.
The 12-year-old whiskey has significantly more sherry influence than standard bottlings due to the maturation in hand-picked bourbon and sherry casks. A sweet note of jam is perceived in the nose. In the mouth there are aromas of vanilla, lemon and tropical fruits.
