Deadhead 6 Year Old is a mature rum from Mexico with 40% vol. This bottling combines rum made from sugar cane and molasses and matures for six years in casks. The result is a dark, aromatic rum with spicy depth, strong sweetness and a long finish.
On the nose, it shows coffee, chocolate, allspice, cinnamon, nutmeg and caramel. On the palate, the rum is full bodied and spicy with notes of cloves, anise, leather, dark sugar, coffee and cocoa.
The finish is long, spicy and pleasantly warm. Deadhead 6 Year Old is suitable for sipping neat, over ice or as an aromatic base for classic tiki cocktails and rum drinks.
