Dewars Aberfeldy Distillery was first planned in 1896 by the sons of John Dewar and is the only Scotch whiskey distillery built by the Dewar family. The whiskey distillery is based in Aberfeldy, Perthshire, Scotland. Dewar's was already one very successful blended whiskey brand known for its quality and the company needed more single malt whiskey to mix.

A younger blend of the well-known brand, artfully created by Master Blender Stephanie Macleod, Dewar's seventh master blender. The carefully selected malt and grain whiskeys in the blend mature in sherry and bourbon barrels and are stored in specially selected oak barrels after they have been married. There they develop their uniquely soft taste, which is characterized by a long, persistent finish.

This whiskey is rich in fruits and blossom honey. Golden honey and toffee make it warm and complex. With opulent fruit accents, juicy exotic fruits with traces of coconut and vanilla give it a certain elegance. Notes of citrus and green apples intensify the complex character.
