Dewars Aberfeldy Distillery was first planned in 1896 by the sons of John Dewar and is the only Scotch whiskey distillery built by the Dewar family. The whiskey distillery is based in Aberfeldy, Perthshire, Scotland. Dewar's was already one very successful blended whiskey brand known for its quality and the company needed more single malt whiskey to mix.

Dewar’s 18 years is a blend of very rare single malts and single grains that have been stored for at least 18 years. Each bottle contains whiskeys from all five single malt distilleries operated by John Dewar & Sons: Aberfeldy and Royal Brackla in the Highlands, Aultmore and Cragellachie in the Speyside and MacDuff on the far east coast. The super premium blend pays homage to Tommy Dewar - the man who gave the world the whiskey.

Notes of marzipan and creamy honey fill the air. On the palate you can perceive marzipan, almonds and vanilla cream with melting caramel. Buttery, soft and sweet. A full aftertaste with opulent oak and dark velvet.
