Dewar's Aberfeldy Distillery was first planned in 1896 by the sons of John Dewar and is the only Scotch whiskey distillery built by the Dewar family. The whiskey distillery is based in Aberfeldy, Perthshire, Scotland. Dewar's was already a very successful blended whiskey brand known for its quality and the company needed more single malt whiskey to blend.
The unique four-stage aging process for ultimate smoothness, finished in Palo Cortado Sherry casks. The Double Double range has been aged, blended, re-matured and then finished in sherry casks for the ultimate smoothness.
The Dewar's Double Double 27-Year-Old delivers heady, aromatic floral notes with honeyed fruits and subtle spices and the characteristic silky smooth finish.
