In 1913, Don Julio Arango y Parra founded the Destilería Colombiana in Cartagena. Hernan Parra, is a rum producer and master blender in the third generation and maintains the family tradition of DICTADOR. Stored in oak barrels and aged in the solera system, it is bottled under careful expert hand.
.The storage of the rum took place for 12 years in oak barrels. This gives it its distinctive flavor.
Intense notes of soft caramel, honey and lightly roasted coffee rise to the nose. These notes are accompanied by noble oak. A light oak spice and a sweetness of vanilla, honey, cocoa and toasted wood also join.
