The fine Dimple 15 year old whiskey is a blend that mainly relies on whiskey from the well-known Glenkinchie distillery. Other distilleries to the north are also involved to a small extent, so that the blended Scotch whiskey shows its sophisticated side .
The Dimple 15 years owes its complex and soft character to the 35 first-class whiskeys that are married for its composition. The distillates come from Glenkinchie, Dalwhinnie, Lagavulin and Cragganmore, among others.
It reveals some woody notes. Accompanied by light vanilla, some nut aromas and a floral character, thanks to its lead whiskey Glenkinchie. The mouthfeel is something completely different. Here it is soft and perfectly balanced with notes of caramel, honey, oak and a hint of spice that leave with a long finish.
