In the state of Jalisco in Mexico, the distillery Don Julio was founded in 1942 by Julio González Estrada. Agaves grow in the heights of the state and are the basis of this tequilas.
Don Julio Anejo Tequila is a very balanced premium tequila. After seven to ten years, the Agavenherzen are harvested by hand and processed in the distillery in the gentle procedure and with much crafted skill to this excellent tequila.
The tequila matures for eighteen months in barrels of American white areas, this gives it his full-bodied taste. The nuances of agave, wood and a lightweight vanilla are perfectly balanced and are accompanied by a light mocha and chocolate note. On the palate you take red fruits and butterscotch.
