This is a true premium rum from Williams & Humbert. The Bodega was founded in 1877 in Jerez by Sir Alexander Williams, a connoisseur and admirer of the products from Jerez, and Arthur Humbert, a specialist in international economic relations. Today, the Bodega is one of the most prestifest manufacturers worldwide.

Dos Maderas Rum is not only matured once, but develops a unique taste in different stages of aging. The first storage took place at the manufacturing site in Guyana and Barbados in the Caribbean. Dos Maderas 5+3 is aged in American oak barrels for five years before the journey to the Jerez region of Andalusia begins. This is followed by the second stage of aging, this time for 3 years in the same casks previously used for Palo Cortado Sherry.

 Exotic notes of spices, caramel, vanilla and a hint of oak smoke rise into the nose. On the palate one perceives light roasted aromas with a light sweetness of caramel, vanilla and a note of sherry. The finish is long and sherry notes are also noticeable here.
