This is a true premium rum from Williams & Humbert. The bodega was founded in Jerez in 1877 by Sir Alexander Williams, a connoisseur and admirer of Jerez products, and Arthur Humbert, a specialist in international economic relations. Today the bodega is one of the most prestigious producers in the world.
Dos Maderas Rum is not only matured once, but develops a unique taste in different stages of aging. The award-winning premium rum Dos Maderas 5YO + 5YO is characterized by its unique aging process, in which the molasses rum is first aged in oak casks for 5 years and then in sherry casks for 5 years.
Intense, sweet notes of figs and raisins fill the air. One also perceives notes of vanilla, various spices and oak wood. On the palate it is also very complex with notes of raisins, figs, spicy dark chocolate, nuts and sweet oak. The finish is long with fruity, spicy notes of sherry and tobacco.
