The El Dorado is a popular and distinguished rum that is a composition of long-aged single rums, the oldest of which is at least 21 years old. The maturation period of 21 years in selected old oak barrels characterizes the excellent rum in its colour, its aroma and its taste.
Various aromas of freshly cut vanilla, fruity figs and sweet honey fill the air. Fine nuances of walnuts, smoky wood and fruity-floral tones meet. In the beginning one perceives light nuances of cocoa, sour cream and acacia.
