The Emperor Rum comes from the island of Mauritius and is also distilled there. The founders of the Emperor Rum are Christophe Aulner and Bruno Le Mule. However, they do not own their own distillery on Mauritius, but buy the best Agricole Rhums and Melasse Rums of 3 Mauritanian distilleries, which are then refined under the brand Emperor of them.
The Emperor Mauritian Rum Royal Spiced is made on the basis of the Emperor Heritage. In addition, however, it will refine with 4 other spices. The additional ingredients are cardamom, cinnamon, star anise and vanilla. These are macerated individually in barrels in France before they are married to the rum.
In the nose, zimaroma, cardamom and a touch of Star Anis rise. On the palate you take cinnamon, vanilla, cardamom, roasted coffee and wood true. The finish is long-lasting.
