The Famous Grouse Experience and the Glenturret Distillery are the same company. Glenturret is the manufactured malt whiskey, while the Famous Grouse is the blended whiskey based on the Glenturret malt. The distillery was founded in 1800, in Scotland, with the simple vision of producing the best quality blended whiskey they are now known around the world for, and have been the top selling whiskey brand in Scotland since 1980.
This bottling matured in former Ruby Port wine barrels and thus received a pleasant sweetness and many fruity notes.
Soft fruity aromas of dark berries and cherries rise into the nose, followed by light malt aromas. On the palate you can perceive an elegant fruity sweetness with traces of herbs and chocolate. The finish is long.
