Glen Grant is the oldest whiskey distillery in Rothes, Moray, Scotland, UK. Brothers John and James Grant applied for a distillery license in 1840. With the sea and port of Garmouth nearby, the River Spey to the south and surrounded by Barley growing areas, all the basic ingredients for malt whiskey were in close proximity.

"" Glen Grant 12 Years "" is a single malt scotch whiskey made with malt barley, spring water and selected yeast. This great whiskey is created through the processes of grinding, mashing, fermentation, double-pot distillation and aging in oak barrels for at least 12 years.

The whiskey is very fruity, diverse and has notes of pears, apples and citrus fruits. These notes are accompanied by a hint of spicy almonds and vanilla. It is soft and voluminous on the palate. You can also perceive notes of caramel, vanilla, spicy oak and a hint of apple pie.
