Glen Grant is the oldest whiskey distillery in Rothes, Moray, Scotland, UK. Brothers John and James Grant applied for a distillery license in 1840. With the sea and port of Garmouth nearby, the River Spey to the south and surrounded by Barley growing areas, all the basic ingredients for malt whiskey were in close proximity.
"" Glen Grant 18 Years "" is a single malt scotch whiskey made with malt barley, spring water and selected yeast. Through the processes of grinding, mashing, fermentation, double-pot distillation and aging in oak barrels for at least 18 years.
It is rich in floral with woody nuances and notes of baking spice. The taste is sweet with nuances of nuts and spices.
