In the "Glen Moray" distillery, the exclusive single malt whiskeys have been distilled since 1897 on the banks of the River Lossie just outside of Elgin, one of the oldest cities in Scotland. Locally malted barley and the pure waters of the River Lossie combine to create this delicate, well-balanced whiskey.
The special thing about this Glen Moray 10 Years Fired Oak Single Malt Scotch Whiskey is that after its maturation in the Bourbon Cask, it gets a 10-month finish in the heavily burned out Virgin Oak Cask.
Sweet and soft aromas of pineapple and toffee fill the air. On the palate one perceives notes of vanilla, spices, oak, liquorice and toffee. The finish is long with hints of smoke and vanilla.
