In the" "Glen Moray" "distillery, the exclusive single malt whiskeys have been distilled on the banks of the River Lossie at the gates of Elgin, one of Scotland's oldest towns, since 1897. The locally malted barley and the pure water of the river Lossie together make this delicate, balanced whiskey.
The maturation period is 21 years. The complex aromas and diverse flavors of this whisky reflect its great age.
Intense notes of berries rise to the nose, which combine with creamy vanilla aromas. Sweet caramel and freshly baked gingerbread join in. On the palate, this single malt is wonderfully balanced with a full-bodied character. Cassis and licorice dominate here, along with delicious caramel and chili chocolate. Dark chocolate and raisins are noticeable on the finish.
