This whiskey comes from the distillery of the same name, which was founded in 1832 and has been very well known for fine single malt from Campbeltown for almost 200 years. A characteristic of the whiskeys is that they are produced near the sea. The whiskey distillery is located not far from the island of Islay and specializes in peated whiskey of the smoky, peaty type.

After its distillation, the Single Malt Scotch, as the name suggests, was stored in two different types of casks. For this, First Fill Ex Bourbon Casks and Pedro Ximenes Sherry Casks were used, which should pass on their character to the whiskey.

Very sweet notes with caramel, toffee, fudge and candied fruits rise in the nose. Apples and peaches also join. On the palate you can perceive a distinct sweetness, followed by a dry distillery character. A slight hint of mint also resonates. The finish is long and spicy.
