Founded in 1825 in the town of Brechin, Glencadam is the only remaining distillery in the 'Kingdom' of Angus.
This is a 10 year old whiskey that is non-chill filtered giving it a nice variety of flavors. Fresh notes of lemon and spicy aromas of oak rise into the nose.
On the palate it is very round with fruity aromas of citrus fruits, oak and a natural sweetness of tropical pineapple. You can also perceive light vanilla notes, which are accompanied by a pleasant maltiness. The finish is long.
